Andrea has made a number of different instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, and cellos. As a cellist, she loves making cellos the most, especially quality fractional instruments.
She studied Lutherie at Red Rocks Community College, which has a strong program focusing on fretted instruments. She has also built electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, and ukuleles. She particularly loves using her inlay skills on instruments.
While at Red Rocks, she did an independent study to learn how to build cellos.
Andrea later worked for a Denver music store as the cello/bass repair specialist, but eventually decided to work independently from her home shop.
She is a valuable member of the community, offering discounted repairs to schools.
